William "Bill" Martin Shiflet

Bill Shiflet passed away on December 10, 2025. He was born on August 5, 1964, in Kingsville, Texas, and grew up in Hamilton, Ohio, as one of ten children. Bill most enjoyed fishing, collecting baseball cards, cheering on his favorite game shows, and most of all, spending time with the people he loved. Bill is preceded in death by his parents, Don and Betty Shiflet, and Dorothy Shiflet; his brothers, Barry Reed and David Reed; his sister, Omie Price; his sister-in-law, Vicky Reed; and his life companion and closest friend, Robin Collins. He is survived by his sisters, Pam (Joe) Hoelle, Peggy Shiflet, Anna (Tim) Justice, and Callie Gellar; his brothers, George (Janis) Reed and Michael Reed; countless nieces and nephews; and, of course, his best pal, his dog Duke. Bill’s humor and friendship extended far beyond his family. He will be fondly remembered by friends, neighbors, and the staff at Bradford Place in Hamilton, whose care, support, and friendship during his time there brought him comfort and joy. Though he is no longer with us, Bill’s spirit lives on in the memories, laughter, and love he shared with all who knew him.
