William “Ray” Hubbard age 87 of Fairfield passed away on Wednesday May 14, 2025. He was born on September 18, 1937 in Manchester, KY the son of the late Luther and Ellen (nee Hensley) Hubbard. Ray is survived by his loving wife of over 67 years, Phyllis Hubbard; five children Tonja (John) Allen, Virginia Eldridge, Cheryl (Mike) Boyle, Glenn Hubbard, and Timothy (Tami) Hubbard; eleven grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren; twenty-one great great grandchildren; one brother Eugene (Sharon) Hubbard. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, other family and close friends. Ray was also preceded in death by ten siblings Cornilla Rimer-Hubbard, Ethel Rimer, Molly Eversole, Betty Lou Stanton, Ellamae Stewart, Biege Hubbard, Beulah Faye Young, Robert Hubbard, Roberta Bond, and Margie Anderson. Visitation will be on Wednesday May 21, 2025 at THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 3080 Homeward Way at Rt. 4, Fairfield from 10:00AM until the time of the funeral at 12:00PM with Pastor Mike Gentry officiating.
