William "Bill" Woodward

William “Bill” Lee Woodward age 76 of Fairfield passed away on Friday June 23, 2023. He was born on December 7, 1946 in Middletown, OH the son of the late Wilbert and Alberta Ruth (nee Sroufe) Woodward. Bill was a veteran of the United States Navy and worked as a machine operator for many years. On July 29, 1998 he married Sandra Smith. Bill was a devout Christian who loved his Lord and Savior with all his heart. He always had a smile on his face, especially when fishing. He is survived by his loving wife of almost 25 years Sandy Woodward; four children William “Billy” Woodward Jr, Bobbie Jo (Josh) Kellis, Mike (Danielle) McFarlin, and Rochelle (Mike) McGowan; seven grandchildren Christian Cundiff, Abbigail Cundiff, Carlie (CJ) Barlett, Joleena Cundiff, Gabby Burnell, Jacob Locke, and Kristopher Locke; four great grandchildren; three siblings Art Woodward, Rose (George) Reynolds and Charlene (Chris) King; two sisters in law Jean Woodward and Judy Woodward. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, other family and close friends. Bill was also preceded in death by his brothers Bobby Woodward, Richard Woodward, and Sonny Woodward. Visitation will be on Thursday June 29, 2023 at THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 3080 Homeward Way at Rt. 4, Fairfield from 11:00AM until the time of the funeral at 1:00PM with Pastor George Reynolds and Pastor Chris King officiating.
