Willard R. Nachtman

Willard R. Nachtman age 93 of Fairfield Township passed away Friday August 15, 2025. He was born May 5, 1932 in Cincinnati, Ohio the son of the late Willard Nachtman and Irene (Demengate) Nachtman. He was a proud veteran of the U. S. Navy. He worked as an accountant for the Williamson Company for several years, retiring in 1990. After retirement he operated Praise Kennels for dog boarding. Mr. Nachtman was a man of deep faith and was a dedicated member of the Fairfield Church of Christ. He attended church service just two weeks before he passed away. He is survived by his wife Valerie Nachtman; his daughter Lisa (Steve) Schnell; two grandsons Tony (Courtney) Brann and Andy (Lauren) Brann; six great grandchildren Conner, Colton, Cameron, Kate, Addison, and Parker; one brother Ronald G. Nachtman; and special niece Marcielle Plank. Mr. Nachtman was also preceded in death by two sisters Irene Putty and Helen Werk. Memorial visitation will be held on Sunday August 24, 2024 from 2-4 PM at the Fairfield Church of Church. Military honors and the memorial service will immediately follow at 4:00 PM at the church with Pastor Brian Schreiber, officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions would be appreciated to the Fairfield Church of Christ or the charity of one’s choice.
