Vicki Ann Coffman, age 73, passed away peacefully on October 22, 2026, at her daughter's home in Monroe. Born on April 5, 1953, Vicki was born and raised in the Middletown area. She was the daughter of Armand and Barbara (Waltner) Sams. Family was central to Vicki's life from the very beginning, and she carried those values forward as a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Vicki was the loving mother of Brandy (Jeff) Turco; grandmother to Cody (Destiny) Hunter, Troy Hunter Jr., Casey (Trinity) Hunter, and Arianna Turco; and great-grandmother to Nellie, Gracie, Ember, and Pennie, each of whom brought tremendous joy to her life. She is also survived by her brother Mike, her sister Nancy, and many nieces and nephews. In her early 50s, Vicki made a life-changing decision to return to school, earning her Bachelor's degree in Addiction Studies. From that point forward, she dedicated her life to helping others. She worked at Sojourner Recovery Services until 2013, serving individuals and families with empathy, dignity, and unwavering commitment. Her work became her calling, and she touched countless lives through her advocacy and care. In 2013, Vicki married Gary Coffman, with whom she shared years of joy, travel, and companionship. She especially loved attending Green Hornets events and traveling with him, creating memories that brought her deep happiness. Vicki was preceded in death by her husband Gary Coffman; her brother Timothy Sams; her niece Charlene Sams, her parents Armand and Barbara (Waltner) Sams. and her grandmother Shirley Waltner. The family extends a heartfelt thank-you to Hospice of Cincinnati, especially Dawn, Kathy and Zach whose compassion, support, and gentle care brought comfort and peace during Vicki's final days. A special thank you is also extended to Brandy's wonderful neighbors, whose kindness and support over the last couple of months meant more than words can express. Vicki will be remembered for her kindness, her fierce dedication to helping others, and her deep love for her family. Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched and in the hearts of those who carry her memory forward.
