Vernon L. Hasty

Vernon L. Hasty age 80 of Dayton, Ohio passed away Saturday December 18, 2021. He was born November 24, 1941 in Dayton, Ohio the son of the late William Earl Hasty and Frances Ferguson Hasty. He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force and worked as a carpenter for many years. Mr. Hasty was a Boy Scout Leader for Troop 93 and he enjoyed fishing and horses. He was married to Ruth Hasty and she preceded him in death in 2017. He is survived by his three children Lesa (Steve) Perkins, Vernon (Sheri) Hasty, Jr., and Janice (Mike) Johnson; seven grandchildren Jacob (Alania) Griffith, Joshua (Monica) Griffith, Craig (Kirah) Hasty, Amanda (Jadon) Howard, Christopher (Leah) Johnson, Nicole Eide, and Anthony Johnson; nine great grandchildren and his sister- in- law Rebecca Hasty. A celebration of life service for Mr. Hasty will be held from 4-8 PM Thursday December 23, 2021 at the 7670 Event Center, 4021 Hamilton-Trenton Road, Hamilton.
