Vaden Fields

Vaden Fields age 75 of Middletown passed away on Thursday December 1, 2022 after a short battle with cancer. He was born on August 21, 1947 in Hamilton the son of the late Homer and Geneva (nee Barker) Fields. Vaden was a veteran of the United States Air Force serving in Vietnam. Vaden flew with the USO tours bringing entertainers to the troops abroad serving as a flight mechanic. He retired from General Electric as an engine tester after many years of service. During his retirement he worked for Kopco Graphics and Smart Paper. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Evelyn Fields; one son Mickey (Jamie) Fields; two granddaughters Sara Fields and Hailey Fields; two brothers Dale (Emily) Fields and Ed (Jeanie) Fields; two sisters in law Mary Ann Fields and Jenny Fields; best friend Carl Ashcraft. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, other family and close friends. Vaden was also preceded in death by his brother Jack Fields; two nieces Tina Fields and Dannicah Coffman; three nephews Donnie Baker, Billy Hamblin and Bobby Strong. THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME is serving the family. A graveside service will be held with full military honors at Dayton National Cemetery 4400 W Third St Dayton, OH 45417 on Wednesday December 7, 2022 at 10:00AM.
