Timothy G. “Timmy” Black, age 51, went home to be with Jesus on February 4, 2026. Timmy was such a kind soul with an infectious smile and had a heart as big as the world. He never met a stranger and knew almost everyone he saw. He loved his family the most, and he loved his cell phone and calling until you answered. He loved going out to eat and we can’t leave out the Miami Redhawks, Ohio State Buckeyes and “WHO DEY Baby.” Timmy loved talking about memories and telling stories, some true, some not, but we loved hearing his stories and listening to him. The enjoyment that it brought him gave us all joy. Every year he looked forward to the holidays and that Tennessee vacation. Although our hearts are aching, we know he is now at peace. Timmy leaves behind his parents Mary & Doug Goins; siblings Dwayne (Megan) Goins, Deanna (Jesse) Powell, Jason (Kim) Black; special cousins PeeWee (Leslie) Henson, Boo (Nick) Noll, Gail Withrow, and Bubby (Amy) Withrow; nieces and nephews Brooklin (Bobby) Hensley, Marissa Myers, Dylan Hibbard, Hannah Powell, Madison Powell, and Brady (Mady) Black; Great nieces and nephews Madison, Aubree, Anthony and Zoie; special friend Mica; aunts Buttons Fields, Rhonda (Terry Allen) Lovins, Faye (Mike) Craycraft, Donna Spurgeon, Pam (Huston) Johnson and Louella Koch; uncles Albert Lovins, Tony (Frani) Jackson, Danny (Pam) Jackson, Oak (Melissa) Goins, Greg (Melissa) Goins and many many other cousins, family and friends. Timmy was preceded in death by his father Tim Black, all of his grandparents and several aunts and uncles. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM-8:00 PM Tuesday February 17, 2026 at THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 3080 Homeward Way at Rt. 4 Fairfield. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday February 18, 2026 at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Online condolences may be made at websterfuneralhomes.com
