Thelma Jean Veroline

October 20, 1941 — February 24, 2022

Thelma Jean Veroline, 80, of Murphy North Carolina went home to be with the Lord Thursday, February 24, 2022. She was born October 20, 1941 in Hamilton Ohio to Seldon and Mary (Turner) Estep. She attended Hamilton City Schools, worked many years at Elder-Beerman department store, Meijer and Logan’s Run Rescue (Murphy NC). Thelma was a member of Ranger Methodist Church and proudly sang in the choir. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, gardening, baking, and coloring. Her greatest joys in life were her five sons. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Gary Estep, her husband Arthur Lobitz, long time partner Dennis DeLeon, husband Robert Veroline, great granddaughter Vadah Lynne Brown, and her son Seldon Brown. Thelma is survived by her four sons, Charles Brown, James Brown (Kathy), Douglas Brown (Kim) and Billy Brown. Nine grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, Five siblings Betty Haynes (Joe), Richard Estep (Tammy), Douglas Estep (Shirley) Donald Estep (Nancy) and Diane Boyes, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
