Teresa "Tari" Sykes

Teresa J. “Tari” Sykes, age 66 of Mason, Ohio passed away on Friday October 1, 2021. She was born on July 27, 1955 in Hamilton, Ohio, the daughter of the late Robert and Joan (nee Rotundo) Mattingly. Tari worked for Champion International Knightsbridge for over 20 years. Her coworkers raved of her work ethic and willingness to help others. Tari brought joy and sunshine to every room she entered. Her family was her world, and she was the best Nonna to her seven grandchildren and seven granddogs. She was an avid gardener and firm believer in always treating yourself to dessert first. She is survived by her loving husband Johnny Sykes; four daughters Kristina (Chris) Martinez, Danielle (Joe) Tumeo, Renee’ (Dustin) Sykes, and Ashley (Michael) Johnson; seven grandchildren Taylor, Payton, Logan, Jillian, Shelby, Shane, and Brooks; six siblings Mary Jo (Don) Briggs, Cathy (Mike) Murphy, Bob (Brigitte) Mattingly, Tom (Cindy) Mattingly, Carol (Chuck) Heitzer, and Mike Mattingly. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, other family and close friends. THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME is serving the family.
