Stephen D. Lewis, age 77, of Fairfield went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, January 29, 2026. He was born September 12, 1948 in Hamilton, Ohio, the son of the late Earl E. Lewis and Ruby Couch Lewis. Mr. Lewis was a 1967 graduate of Fairfield High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Army who served in Vietnam. He began his career at a Hamilton electronics shop and later worked as a journeyman electrician for Stout and Jones Electric. In 1980, he began his entrepreneurial career by establishing his business, AMP Electric Systems, Inc. During his forty years in operation as a master electrician, he serviced commercial and residential clients throughout the Tri-State area. Steve was a devout Christian who loved God, family, and country. He gave of his time, talent and treasure and instilled the same values within his children. He was a faithful attender and volunteer at the Princeton Pike Church of God. Steve’s greatest pleasures were motorcycle road trips with his wife and friends and supporting his kids and grandkids in their hobbies and talents. On September 12, 1969 (his birthday) he married Carol McIntosh. He is survived by his beloved wife Carol Lewis; two children Sheila (Rick) Walker and Tim (Christi) Lewis; five grandchildren Anna Brown, Hannah Lewis, Noah Lewis, Emily Brown, and Sarah Lewis; and one sister Sharon (Albert) Tegge. Visitation 4-6 PM Friday February 6, 2026 at the Princeton Pike Church of God, 6101 Princeton Glendale Road, Liberty Township. Full military honors will take place at 6:00 PM at the church followed by the funeral service with Pastor Christopher Quinn and Pastor Robert Metz, officiating.
