Shirley J. Withers

Shirley J. Withers age 72 of Fairfield passed away Thursday September 11, 2025. She was born September 27, 1952 in Hamilton, Ohio the daughter of the late John Bowlin and Pollie (Fields) Bowlin-Clark. Shirley was a 1970 graduate of Hamilton Garfield High School and worked for many years as an accountant. She loved watching the wildlife in her backyard and feeding the squirrels. Shirley also enjoyed her son Michael’s cooking and watching Jeopardy. She was married to Gary Withers and he preceded her in death in 2006. She is survived by her two children Michael Withers and Joseph (Ellen) Withers; was the loving “Mi-Mi” to grandchildren Paige and Amelia; five siblings Charlie Bowlin, Sue (Wayne) Elliott, Brenda Bowlin, David (Beverly) Bowlin, and Fairy (Don) Stroud. Shirley is also survived by her special niece Janie, many nieces and nephews, and her dog Panda-Bear. As per Shirley’s request no services will be observed.
