Shirley Bates

Shirley Bates age 76 of Hamilton passed away on Saturday November 27, 2021. She was born on February 19, 1945 in Jackson County, KY the daughter of the late Elmer and Gladys (nee Lynch) Brown. She is survived by her loving husband William Bates; three children Debbie Ann (Craig) Treisch, Donna Sue (Ken) Keeble, and Robert Lee (Carolyn Streaker) Bates; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one sister-in-law Charlotte Brown. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, other family and close friends. Shirley was also preceded in death by her brother Ronnie Brown. Visitation will be on Wednesday December 1, 2021 at THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 3080 Homeward Way at Rt. 4, Fairfield from 5:00PM-7:00PM. There will be services on Thursday December 2, 2021 at New Zion Baptist Church Highway 587 McKee, KY 40447 from 11:00AM until the time of the funeral at 1:00PM with Pastor Bobby Harris officiating.
