Samuel M. Mamula

Samuel M. Mamula age 67 of Fairfield passed away Monday April 11, 2022. He was born March 30, 1955 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania the son of the late Samuel and Shirley (nee Howard) Mamula. Sam graduated from the University of Pittsburgh and was currently employed at Cincinnati Insurance as vice-president of loss control field manager. He was very involved in several organizations, including The American Society of Safety Professionals, member of the Green Township Police Academy, worked for 10 years as a precinct election official, and was very active in the University of Pittsburgh Alumni Association. Sam loved spending time with his family and his grandchildren were his prized possessions. He is survived by his wife Kathryn Mamula; children Samuel (Stephanie) Mamula, Nikki (Jonathan) Burt, Justin (Lindsay) Ouwerkerk, Jordan (Beth) Ouwerkerk, and Lauren (partner Tanner) Ouwerkerk; grandchildren Billy Hilton, Kirra Alford, J.R. Ouwerkerk, and Jonathan Ouwerkerk; siblings Steve (Pam) Mamula and Sheryl (David) Hoover; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial visitation will be held at THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 3080 Homeward Way at Rt. 4, Fairfield on Saturday April 23, 2022 from 4:00 PM until the time of the memorial service at 6:00 PM, with Pastor Kevin Jud, officiating.In lieu of flowers memorial contributions would be appreciated to missingkids.org, a national center for missing and exploited children. www.websterfuneralhomes.com
