Ruth Irene (Napier) Hoskins born on November 4, 1953 in Asher, Ky went to Heaven on December 22, 2025 surrounded by her Family.

Ruth, known to many as Nanny, was a life long resident of the North End of Hamilton. She was a hard worker and provider for her Family. From Leshners, Center Haven NH, Kroger, Walmart, to making those chicken wings and steak hoagies at The Brown Bar. All while managing a rental property as a single Mom having been widowed at an early age. Ruth devoted her life to her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and dog Bow who was her faithful companion until the end. Every breath taken and every hour worked was for them. Survived by Sisters Oma Sue (Corky) Reed, Scarlett (Gene) Eubanks. Brother Jerry Napier. Brothers in law Tim (Laurene) and Danny (Jackie) Hoskins 

Children 

Kristie (Darryl) Gentry, Danny Hoskins, Billie (Katie) Hoskins and step children Sherry, Lil Donny, Jovene, Carla, Cindy and Donna.

Grandchildren

Kara, Kristian (Ari), Chance (Brooklynn), Brittany, Shaelynn, Chloe, Jacob, Racheal, Arien and Duston.

Great Grands

Jayce Waylon, Kaidyn, Ashton, Charlotte and Lakelynn.

Many other family and friends including nieces and nephews Steve(Tammy) Bridgett, Jackie, (Bill) Rickie, Vickie (Randall) Kelly, Ramona (Josh) and Amanda Kaye. She was met at Heavens gates by her husband Donnie Hoskins, Bill Smith, Mother Ileana (Brock) Napier, Father Charles Napier, brother Rosevelt, and many other loved ones including James, Wilma, Molly, Ricky, Danny Smith, Donna Long and Brett. Thanks to all who helped care for our Mom through her battle. Thank you to the Kettering Heath Cancer Center, the staff on 5 main at Kettering Hamilton and Hospice of Cincinnati. Memorial visitation on Tuesday January 6, 2026 at THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME, 3080 Homeward Way at RT. 4, Fairfield from 4:00 PM until the time of the memorial service at 6:00 PM, with Pastor Patrick Davis, officiating. Immediately following there will be Family Food and Fellowship with Pastor Charlie Riddell at Pater Worship Center, 2104 Pater Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio. www.websterfuneralhomes.com
