Ruby J. Gibson

Ruby J. Gibson age 90 of Springdale, Ohio passed away Wednesday June 18, 2025 in her home with her family by her side. She was born October 12, 1934 in Wise Co., VA, the daughter of the late Wint Collins and Minerva (Meade) Collins. She was married to Alonzo Gibson and he preceded her in death in 2011. She was 60 year member of the Tri- County Assembly of God Church. Mrs. Gibson was a valued customer service representative at Sears-Roebuck for many years and received many awards for her attention to her customers. She worked hard for her family all of her life. She was known as a great cook and was loved by all and will be missed by many. She is the mother of Glenda (David) Garver, the late Ronald Gibson, and Brook Adams; grandmother of Marlan Merck, Brandon Anglin, Kristen Gibson, Wesley Gibson, and Grace Carson; great grandmother of Luna Finn, and Reyna; and sister of Ronald (Jan) Collins, Ken (Karen) Collins, Robert (Pam) Collins, Wanda Kay Collins, and the late Curtis Collins, Lorene Raiby, William G.
