Rose Roark

Rose K. Roark, age 67, of Hamilton, OH, passed away on Wednesday Sept. 10, 2025, at Bethesda Butler Hospital. She was born in Hamilton on May 11, 1958, the daughter of the late Marion and Evelyn (nee Wilcox) Womacks. She was a former employee of Menards and Fairfield Lanes. Rose treated everyone like they were her family. To those that knew her, she was known as Mama Rose or Aunt Rose. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, camping, and doing puzzles. Rose loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren, and loved animals, especially cats and birds. She was devout Christian who read her bible daily. Rose married Darrell Roark on July 31, 1976, at New Miami Church of Christ. She leaves behind her loving husband of over 49 years Darrell Roark; one son Daren (Ashley) Roark; five grandchildren Reanna (Alexis) Wolfe, Kylie Roark, Cullen Fogarty, Gaven Roark, and Aylah Roark; three brothers William “Bill” (Hope) Womacks, Ken (Joy) Womacks, and Dwayne (the late Penni) Womacks; sister-in-law Samantha Roark. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, other family, and close friends. Rose was also preceded in death by daughter Shirene F Fogarty; one sister Shirene Womacks; her parents Marion and Evelyn Womacks; and her stepmother Ilene Womacks. Visitation will be on Tuesday September 16, 2025, at THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 3080 Homeward Way at Rt. 4, Fairfield from 12:00PM until the time of the funeral at 1:00PM.
