Rodney "Joe" Mason Sr

Rodney “Joe” Mason Sr age 72 of Independence, KY passed away on Wednesday March 4, 2026. He was born on September 21, 1953 in Winchester, IN the son of the late William and Delores (nee Gilbert) Mason. Joe is survived by his loving wife Georgetta Mason; five children Joanna (the late Jason) Carpenter, Rodney (Jackie) Mason Jr, Nicholas (Erin) Mason, Joshua Mason, and Janell Mason; fourteen grandchildren Cody, Jaysa, Jason, Jaydence, Dalton, Daethan, James, Mariah, Connor, Max, Zoe, Leila, Kenny, and Joelle; two great grandchildren Grace and Carson; two siblings David (Ruth) Mason and Judy Whitmer. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, other family and close friends. Joe was also preceded in death by his step dad Clarence Combs and sister Carol Mason. Visitation will be on Friday March 13, 2026 at THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 3080 Homeward Way at Rt. 4, Fairfield from 1:00PM until the time of the funeral at 2:00PM.
