Robin S. Wood

Robin S. Wood age 64 of Hamilton passed away on Monday, February 23, 2026. She was born on February 6, 1962, in Hamilton the daughter of the late Millard and Lucy (nee Goins) Gibson. Robin is survived by her husband David Wood; brother-in-law Joe Blower, sisters-in-law Karen Gibson and Pam Gibson. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, other family and close friends. She was preceded in death by her first husband Greg Helton; five siblings Millard Gibson, Patty Blower, Mike Gibson, Tim Gibson, and Cheryl Gibson. Robin dearly loved her husband, Dave. After many years of friendship, God brought them together and blessed her with the desire of her heart. Though Dave is deeply saddened to have had only one year with the love of his life, he remains forever grateful for her generous heart—her love, her acceptance, and her unwavering belief that he could be everything she deserved. Family meant everything to Robin. Though she had no children of her own, she cherished her nieces and nephews as if they were hers. She always referred them as “Her Kids”. Lucy and Alex, who spent much of their childhood in her home, were especially dear to her. She lovingly called them her ‘Sweet Girl Lucy’ and ‘Best Boy Alex.’ Robin’s faith was the foundation of her life. She openly shared her testimony of God’s healing, His grace, and His abundant goodness. She loved to sing, especially in the church choir. Her signature song, ‘Look What the Lord Has Done,’ reflected her gratitude and her unshakable belief in God’s power. Robin deeply loved God and generously loved people. Robin’s first husband, Greg, passed away after their 18 years of marriage. Together, she and Greg traveled across the United States from coast to coast, making wonderful memories in nearly every corner of the country. She dreamed of visiting all 50 states and had only two left—California and Oregon. Robin dedicated 30 years of her career to Western & Southern, a place she truly loved. She took great joy working side by side with colleagues who became lifelong friends. Her work ethic was exceptional, and it showed in her unwavering loyalty to her team, and to the relationships she built along the way. Visitation will be on Sunday March 1, 2026 at Fairfield Church of God 6001 Dixie Hwy, Fairfield 45014 from 3:00PM-6:00PM. The funeral will be on Monday at 10:00am at the church with Pastor Patrick Owens officiating. Burial to follow in Greenwood Cemetery. THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME is serving the family.
