Ricky D. Shaffer Jr.

Ricky D. Shaffer, Jr. age 48 of Oxford passed away Saturday March 28, 2026. He was born June 15, 1977 in Cincinnati, Ohio the son of the late Ricky D. Shaffer, Sr. and Caren Anderson Shaffer. Ricky was a 1995 graduate of Fairfield High School. His father was a master plumber and Ricky followed in his father’s footsteps as a union plumber. He enjoyed riding anything with wheels, such as motorcycles and Jeeps. Above all he deeply loved his family and was an amazing Dad to his two girls. He is survived by his wife Summer Shaffer; two daughters Genesis Shaffer and McKaylynne Shaffer; one sister Michele Shaffer and a half brother Jimmy Patterson. Ricky is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and a host of close friends. Visitation at THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 3080 Homeward Way at Rt. 4, Fairfield on Thursday April 9, 2026 from 5:00 PM until the time of the funeral service at 7:00 PM.
