Rickey E. Carmack

Rickey E. Carmack age 71 of Hamilton passed away Tuesday March 3, 2026. He was born February 4, 1955 in Hamilton, Ohio the son of the late Paul Carmack and Dorothy Crawford Carmack. He was a 1973 graduate of Hamilton Garfield High School and played football for the Griffins for three years. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy for five years and served two years overseas. Mr. Carmack worked as a corrections officer at the Lebanon Correctional Institution and also worked for the Springdale, Ohio Post Office. He was a member of the AMVETS where he enjoyed playing cards with his friends. He was married to Marilyn Vanancio Carmack and she preceded him in death on May 18, 2014. He is survived by three children Michelle (Charles) Warren, Dorothy Presta, and Kathy (Chris) Abrams; ten grandchildren Miranda Warren, Trae Johnson, Chase Johnson, Denton Blaylock, Eddie Blaylock, Tazia Blaylock, Morgan Abrams, Clay Abrams, Tanner Abrams, and Lindsay Abrams; and two brothers Mike (Adrienne) Carmack and Gary (Laura) Carmack. Mr. Carmack was also preceded in death by his brother Roy Carmack and his sister Pam Singleton. Visitation at THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 3080 Homeward Way at Rt. 4, Fairfield on Wednesday March 11, 2026 from 10:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 AM, with Pastor Tim Mullins, officiating.
