Raymond Jacobs, 82, of Liberty Township, Ohio, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2026 surrounded by his family. He was born on November 26, 1943, and is survived by his beloved wife of over 61 years, Brenda (Privett) Jacobs; his son, Brody (Ann) Jacobs; his daughter, Nora (Jason) Grossnickle; and his cherished grandchildren, Deuce Jacobs, Annabelle (Ryan) Garrity, Madeline (fiancé Brian Slater) Grossnickle, Alex Jacobs, and Paislee Ray Grossnickle. He was preceded in death by his son, Kelly “KC” Jacobs, who passed away in 2024. Ray was a proud veteran of The United States Navy and a faithful servant who will be remembered for his love of God, family, and country. He was always a protective, steady presence for those he cared about and loved fiercely! His legacy lives on through the lives of his children and grandchildren.
We find comfort in knowing that he is now at peace in the presence of his Savior, hearing the words, “Well done, good and faithful servant.” (Matthew 25:23)
Visitation will be held on Wednesday May 6, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Webster Funeral Home, 3080 Homeward Way, Fairfield, OH 45014, with a funeral service beginning at 1:00 PM. Burial will immediately follow at Rose Hill Burial Park with Military Honors.
In this time of grief, we hold onto the promise of eternal life and the hope we have through Christ. Ray will be deeply missed and forever loved until we meet again.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Disabled American Veterans (DAV) https://www.dav.org/ways-to-give/
