Opal V. Ruff age 84 of Hamilton passed away on Saturday July 27, 2024. She was born on October 18, 1939 in Melvin, KY the daughter of the late Charlie and Bessie (nee Howell) Hobson. Opal was married to Paul Ruff and he preceded her in death in 1995. She is survived by two children Eric (Krissy Haisley) Ruff and Shari Ruff; two grandchildren Kari (Robert) Bowman and Caleb Ruff; four great grandchildren Rosalie Fields, Mason Bowman, Addyson Ruff, and Anthony Ruff; five siblings John (Mitzi) Hobson, Donnie (Barb) Hobson, Ken Hobson, Joe (the late Sharon) Hobson, and Larry (Paula) Elliott. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, other family and close friends. Mrs. Ruff was also preceded in death by one grandson Tony Ruff; three siblings Burton Hobson, Mary Hobson, and Viola Stewart. Visitation will be on Tuesday August 6, 2024 at THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 3080 Homeward Way at Rt. 4, Fairfield from 12:00PM until the time of the funeral at 2:00PM with Pastor Barry Wilson officiating.
