Norman E. "Gene" Jackson

Norman “Gene” Jackson age 75 of Fairfield passed away on Sunday May 18, 2025. He was born on April 2, 1950 in East Prairie, MO the son of the late Norman “Pete” and Hazel (nee Lloyd) Jackson. Gene was a veteran of the United States Army and member of Hilltop Baptist Church. He is survived by his loving wife Yvonne Jackson; eight children Tabatha (the late Kevin) Summerville, Jodi (Donnie) York, William (Charity) Jackson, Phillip (Cassie) Jackson, Edward Jackson, Scott (Kristina) Gray, Theresa Gray, and Kimberly (Ray) Cook; twenty-one grandchildren; twenty-four great grandchildren. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, other family, and close friends. Gene was also preceded in death by his son Nathan Jackson; seven siblings Tom (Martha) Jackson, LB (Carol) Jackson, Billy Ray Jackson, Wilma (Harry) Jackson, Neomi (Bill) Wingarter, Linda Rutledge, and Connie Lenon. Visitation will be on Friday May 23, 2025 at THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 3080 Homeward Way at Rt. 4, Fairfield from 4:00PM until the time of the funeral with full military honors at 6:00PM.
