Nieata F. Bailey

Nieata Faye Bailey (nee Vaughn) 80, of Fairfield, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2026. She was born on September 3, 1945, in London, KY to the late John Harvey Vaughn and Mollie (Harris) Vaughn. The youngest of 7 children. She graduated from London High School in 1963 and attended Sue Bennet College. She moved to Hamilton, Ohio in the 1960’s. Nieata retired from Cincinnati Financial Corporation in 2010 after 31 years of service. She enjoyed travel, scrapbooking and anything involving her family. Family is everything. She is survived by her daughter Mollie Bailey, and the apple of her eye, her grandson Jude Michael Bailey both of Cincinnati, Ohio. Her sister Amata Mae Johnson of London, KY, nieces and nephews Carol Ann Johnson, Debra (Murrell) Smith, Daniel (Leigh) Johnson, Paula (Doug) Gilliam, Susan (Kyle) Radcliffe, Rhonda Vaughn, Nick (Meghan) Vaughn, Tanya (Russell) Johnston, Craig (Flor) Bailey, Jennifer (Mike) Roberts, Brandon (Shirley) Hoskins, nineteen great nieces & nephews and nine great greats. She was preceded in death by her son John Michael Bailey, parents John H & Mollie Vaughn. Siblings Ross Dean Vaughn, Oleta Vaughn, Elmer Vaughn, Rondoll Vaughn, Dewey Vaughn and her best friend, Phyllis J. Hoskins. Visitation will be on Thursday March 19, 2026 at THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 3080 Homeward Way at Rt. 4, Fairfield from 4:00PM-7:00PM.
