Nancy Louise King

Nancy Louise King (nee Arthur), age 88 of Fairfield, passed away on Wednesday July 15, 2026. She was born on December 15, 1937, in Charleston, West Virginia. The only daughter and youngest child of the late John and Ernestine (nee Harpold) Arthur. She outlived her six older brothers, Arnold, Johnny, Russel, Charlie, Franklin, and Joseph Arthur.

Nancy was a homemaker for most of her life and later she was employed by Dillard’s at Northgate Mall. Nancy was married to Charles King for 66 years before his death in 2022. They had two daughters, Mary (Bill) Brannon and Pam (Brad) Mehlhope; four grandchildren Mike (Sara) Brannon, Steve, David Mehlhope and Mark Mehlhope; one great granddaughter Olivia Brannon. THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME, Fairfield is serving the family. The family will receive guests on Saturday August 1, 2026 from 1PM-3PM, at Majestic Care of Fairfield in the Community Room at 5152 Dixie Highway, Fairfield, Ohio 45014. She will be laid to rest at Crown Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations in Nancy’s name can be made at the local ASPCA.
