Merle D. Smith

Merle D. Smith age 79 of Hamilton passed away on Tuesday March 31, 2026. He was born on January 6, 1947 in Henderson, KY the son of the late Murray and Martha (nee Hibbard) Smith. He was married to Barb Smith and she preceded in death in 2014. He is survived by two daughters Cherie Smith and Pam (Mike) Feltner; one granddaughter Kimi (Freddie) Boeppler. He also leaves behind many other family and close friends. He was also preceded in death by his son Murray Smith. A graveside service will be held at Butler County Memorial Park on Friday April 10, 2026 at 2:00PM with Pastor Arnie Turner officiating. THEW WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME is serving the family.
