Mary Ann Wright

Mary Ann Wright, age 72 of Hamilton, Ohio, passed away peacefully on January 24, 2026 at her home. She was born August 21, 1953 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late James and Joanne Taylor. She was a 1971 graduate of Seton High School where she learned her love for the arts. Mary was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a loving sister whose kindness and generosity touched everyone around her. She was a talented artist who found joy in sewing, quilting, drawing, baking, caring for her beloved dogs, and spending time at the beach—her favorite place to relax and recharge. Mary is survived by her three children Tommy Dawson (Christina), Rhonda Dawson (Casey) and Chris Dawson (Suzi), her six grandchildren Kyle (Tasha), Brendon (Abby), Kalyn, James, Gwen and Lydia, and her great-grandchildren Bentley, Briley, Bridget, Jaxson and Brendon Jr. who will carry her memory forward. She also leaves behind her siblings Mike Taylor, Karen Taylor and John Taylor (Dianna) and many nieces and nephews. Her kindness, creativity, and love for family will be forever remembered. Mary’s life was a testament to strength, resilience, and the quiet beauty of a generous heart. A strong woman who had weathered the storm but still loved to dance in the rain. Her spirit will continue to shine brightly through the family she cherished and the countless lives she touched. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
