Martin "Marty" McCroskey

Marty McCroskey, 64, of Winter Haven, Florida, passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2026. Born on December 13, 1961, in Hamilton, Ohio, he was the son of the late Ronald and Roberta McCroskey. Marty is survived by his children, Dustin McCroskey and Kara Matsen; and his five beloved grandchildren, Shaeli McCroskey, Raegan McCroskey, Elizabeth Buckler, Gauge Street, and Hershel McCroskey. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ronald and Roberta McCroskey. Marty retired from Miller Pipeline after a dedicated career. He had a lifelong love of the ocean and a special appreciation for sea turtles. He enjoyed watching sports, especially college football, and had a passion for exploring different cultures through food. Whether trying new dishes or experimenting with recipes in his own kitchen, Marty found joy in discovering new flavors and experiences. Marty was a natural storyteller who enjoyed sharing stories and experiences with those around him. Through his stories, he shared pieces of his life, his adventures, and the memories he collected along the way. His stories were a part of who he was and will remain a cherished part of how he is remembered. Marty will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him. Though his voice may be silent, the stories he told and the memories he created will continue to live on through those who loved him.
