Marlis M. Hatton

Marlis M. Hatton age 76 of Hamilton passed away on Monday December 22, 2025. She was born on December 24, 1948 in Springfield, IL the daughter of the late Everett and Velma Mae (Jordan) McEleyea. Marlis was married to Daniel Lee Hatton and he preceded her in death in 2019. She is survived by two sons Chris (Birgit) Hatton and Jonathan (Sherry) Hatton; five grandchildren Jeffrey (Kristin) Hatton, Dominick (Tori) Hatton, Jeremey Hatton, Alexander Hatton, and Samantha Hatton; two great grandchildren Braelyn Hatton and Wrenley Hatton. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, other family, and close friends. She was also preceded in death by two siblings Marilyn Schoppenhorst and Jerry McEleyea. Visitation will be on Saturday December 27, 2025 at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church 4601 Fairfield Ave Fairfield, OH 45014 from 8:30AM until the time of funeral service at 10:30AM with Pastor Mark Gregory officiating.
