Marie-Noëlle (Maria) Bangala Okito, 41, a native of the Democratic Republic of Congo, passed away on June 26, 2025. Born on December 25, 1983, in Kinshasa, DRC, she was the daughter of Devos Otto Wangama Bangala and Patience Bokwala Bokangu. Marie-Noëlle married her loving husband, Michel Okito, on October 25, 2008. They shared a 17-year marriage filled with love and a lot of wonderful moments. She is survived by her children, Louis-G. (16) and Netty (14), as well as her siblings and numerous nieces and nephews. Marie-Noëlle was preceded in death by her beloved father, General Bangala, and four siblings.Little Fish, as her father affectionately called her because she was born prematurely, weighing only 1.8 kg, was a light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Marie-Noëlle was known for her lively spirit and good humor. She was very obedient, very calm and very determined, and did not easily change her mind once convinced. Always very helpful, she was ready to do anything to help a friend, a neighbor, or even a stranger. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched with her humor, kindness, and legendary charm. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25, 2025, at WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME, 3080 Homeward Way, Route 4, Fairfield, from 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Her funeral will be held at the Fairfield Church of God, 6001 Dixie Highway on Saturday, July 26th, at 10:00 a.m., with Pastor Vernon Williams officiating.
