Maria A. Velez

Maria A. Velez age 89 of West Chester passed away on Monday November 28, 2022. She was born November 17, 1933 in Medellin, Colombia the daughter of the late Luis Henao and Maria Tobon. Maria was a proud US citizen and had lived here for 42 years. She was a devout catholic and pillar of her family. She provided great inspiration to her family for her strength of character and work ethic. Family love and unity was her number one priority. She was loved dearly by all her family and friends. She had the ability to make others laugh with ease and was a force to be reckoned with. She was married to Luis Velez Sr and he preceded her in death. She is survived by three children Guillermo, Ivan, and Margarita; fourteen grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren. Maria was also preceded in death by two children Elkin and Luis Jr. THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME is serving the family.
