Margene Farmer age 97 of Fairfield passed away Wednesday July 13, 2022. She was born June 4, 1925 in Manchester, Kentucky the daughter of the late Alex and Mintie (nee Tankersley) Hornsby. She was married to Welman Farmer and he preceded her in death in 2010. Mrs. Farmer enjoyed gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family. She is survived by three children Jerry (Jo Ann) Farmer, Shirley Cotton, and Cara (Jim) Martin; seven grandchildren Jeri Lynn (Jay) Zinkon, Deana (Greg) Scott, Traci Watson, Jeff (Shawnda) Van de Hatert, Jason Van de Hatert, Chris (Kym) Martin, and David (Amy) Martin; thirteen great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren. Mrs. Farmer was also preceded in death by several siblings. Visitation at THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 3080 Homeward Way at Rt. 4, Fairfield on Tuesday July 19, 2022 from 9:30 AM until the time of the funeral service at 11:30 AM, with Pastor Dennis Whitaker, officiating.
