Madalyn Gaydosh

Madalyn Sara Gaydosh age 86 of West Chester, Ohio passed away Saturday February 24, 2024 in her home. She was born January 11, 1938 in Warren, Ohio the daughter of the late Ralph Bond Warner and Pearl Lenore Stambaugh. Madalyn graduated from Leavittsburg High School, Leavittsburg, Ohio and attended college at Youngstown State University specializing in secretarial skills. Madalyn’s last job was in Fairfield, Ohio at TechniCrete where she was an office Manager. She held many positions throughout her life, but being a Leavittsburg school bus driver for many years made her the most proud. Madalyn most loved spending time with her family. She was also a great cook. She made the best fudge around and everyone looked forward to her Christmas tins filled with the yummy goodness. She was a skilled gardener and grew beautiful flowers, especially irises and peonies. She was strong, resilient, and perserverant. She endured many hardships in her life and never quit working and striving to overcome them. In the end she was fulfilled and always had a smile, kind word, or an “elbow” for everyone she met. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers John, Ralph, and Charles Warner; and son Joseph Bond Gaydosh. Madalyn was single upon death and is survived by her daughters Dorothea Burke (Jack) and Tracie Braun (Jay Needleman); grandchildren Jeremiah Shepherd (Annalee), Isaac Shepherd (Madison Hibbard), and Steven Braun (Madeline Fry); and a great grandson Abraham Shepherd. A memorial service for Madalyn will be held at 11:00 AM Monday at THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 3080 Homeward Way at Rt. 4, Fairfield.
