Lucy J. Taylor

Lucy J. Taylor age 88 of Fairfield formerly of Hamilton passed away Thursday April 24, 2025. She was born December 10, 1936 in East Bernstadt, Kentucky the daughter of Andy Pennington and Dorothy (Hibbard) Pennington. Jay worked for many years as a waitress at the Bonanza Sirloin Pit. She enjoyed spending time with her family and many friends, especially playing cards with her sisters. She is survived by her son Rick Hazelwood, one sister Judy Schwartz, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings Robert Hibbard, Louise Miller, Dave Hopkins, and Evelyn Young. A graveside service for Mrs. Taylor will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday April 30, 2025 at Rose Hill Burial Park. A celebration of life to be announced.
