Lucille Merida

Lucille Merida age 84 of Somerville, Ohio was born May 25, 1938 and passed away Thursday October 13, 2022 in her home. She was married to Wendell Merida and he preceded her in death in 2013. Mrs. Merida was a devoted homemaker and was an excellent cook who loved to prepare large meals. She was a very giving person to all and greatly enjoyed making peanut butter fudge and candy which she happily shared with others. She was the beloved mother of Debbie Johnson, Robert McIntosh, Richard Terry, Paul Terry, the late Doug Garcia, the late Tony Garcia, the late Danny McIntosh, Misty Merida, and T. K. Trueman; also surviving are 23 grandchildren, including special grandson Cameron Kumar, the light of her life; many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; 2 sisters Judy (Roger) Thompson and Phyllis (Warren) O’Connor; and her dear friend Earl McIntosh. Mrs. Merida was also preceded in death by her brother Charles Sizemore. Visitation at THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 3080 Homeward Way at Rt. 4, Fairfield on Tuesday October 18, 2022 from 10:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 PM, with Pastor Barry Wilson, officiating.
