Linda Smith

Linda Smith age 78 of Cincinnati and former long time resident of Batavia passed away Tuesday July 22, 2025. She was born October 22, 1946 in Somerset, Kentucky the daughter of the late Huey Burgin and Ruby (Trout) Burgin. She was married to Ronald Smith and he preceded her in death on February 9, 2020. Mrs. Smith was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church and an active member of the Batavia Democratic Party. She worked for a time at the Internal Revenue Service. Mrs. Smith enjoyed going to the library but she most enjoyed spending time with her beloved family and friends. She is the devoted mother of Rhonda Gordon, Heather (Joe) Bell, and the late Brad Smith and the late Gregg Smith; and dear grandmother of Emily (Joel), Hanna (Michael), Levi, Ashton, Avery, Bethany (Anthony), Zachary, Adam, Keith, Isaac, Chloe, the late Dakota, Tyler, Aaron (Kayla), Jordan, Samantha, and Jennifer ; and numerous great grandchildren. Visitation at THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 3080 Homeward Way at Rt. 4, Fairfield on Monday July 28, 2025 from 10:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 PM.
