Levi M. Caddell

April 22, 1952 — June 21, 2023

Levi Marvin (Bud) Caddell, age 71 of Fairfield, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, June 21, 2023. Born on April 22, 1952, son of the late Chesley Jarvis and Billie Josephine Caddell. As a graduate of Hughes High School, he earned his High school Diploma in Cincinnati, Ohio. He went on to obtain a Bachelor of Arts in Bible and Theology at Central Bible College (CBC), Springfield, Missouri, with a minor in Special Ministries, a License to Preach and an officiant of marriage. While attending CBC he also traveled and sang with the CBC Living Signs Choir. A veteran of the United States Army, he served as a Russian Linguist until he was honorably discharged and began his missionary work with MAPS Global, Operation Mobilization, Teen Challenge and the Billy Graham Crusade in Cincinnati. He enjoyed multiple hobbies and had many talents. Levi was a musician, artist, missionary, outdoor enthusiast, linguist and minister. He enjoyed playing his guitar, signing, drawing, teaching the word of God, studying languages, cultures and studying the Bible, flying, exploring, camping, fishing, hiking, wood working, leather working, cooking, baking, coffee and researching his family genealogy. While attending a Teen Challenge conference in Switzerland, he met Johanna Michels who later became his wife. He is a beloved father and survived by his five children, Larrisa Hayes (nee Caddell), Anselm (married), Anja, Søren (Sean Sherard), Mischael (Katherine) and their mother Johanna; his 12 grandchildren, 1 great grandson, many pseudo children and pseudo grandchildren. As the oldest of five children himself, he leaves behind four siblings, Butch (Bernie), Rosanna (the late Troy Smallwood), David (the late Natalie), Pam and their children; his nieces and nephews.

Levi’s memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 9, 2023, 5pm-6:30pm at Northern Hills Christian Church, 9470 Winton Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45231. THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME is serving the family. Online condolences may be made at www.websterfuneralhomes.com
