Judith A. Covert

Judith Ann Covert, 81 of Fairfield, died January 13, 2026. She was born November 15, 1944 in Covington, KY. She was the devoted wife of Thomas J. Covert, her husband of 60 years, and sister of Peggy Haas. She was preceded in her death by her parents. Survived by her children: son Joel A. Covert and daughter-in-law Michele Covert; daughter Holly Best and son-in-law Todd Best; beloved grandchildren Emma Covert, Caroline Bryngelson wife of Clay, Isaac Covert, Lauren Scanlon wife of Christian, and Kyle Hsu; beloved great-grandchildren Charlotte and Isaac Bryngelson.

Judy was devoted to the Lord, her family and many friends. She loved to worship the Lord in both song and life. Everyone that encountered her knew that all her treasure was in heaven and she was considered a prayer warrior by many and a compassionate listener. Judy loved her job as a homemaker, welcoming in and serving countless family and friends. She will be greatly missed by more people than she ever would have realized.

Friends will be received Saturday January 17, 2026 at Winton Road First Church of God, 6200 Winton Road in Fairfield, Ohio where visitation will be at 10:30AM until the start of the funeral at 11:30AM. Burial will be on Tuesday January 20, 2025 at 10AM at Crown Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
