Joseph E. Wright

Joseph E. Wright Jr., age 60, of Hamilton, passed away on Monday, March 9, 2026. He was born on August 12, 1965, in Hamilton, the son of the late Joseph and Charlotte (née Smith) Wright Sr. Joe is survived by his wife, Karen Moeller; his son, Nicholas Moeller; his sister, Debbi (Don) Miller; sisters‑in‑law Sandra (John) Fugate, Renee (Jeff) Brinegar, and Amy (Jeff) Thomas; and his great‑aunt, Bernice (the late Wendell) Clemmons. He also leaves behind his best buddy—his dog, Cato—as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and close friends. Joe will be remembered for his passion for grilling and smoking delicious food and sharing with friends and family, his love of gardening, his enjoyment of car shows, fishing and being a fan of all sports, especially Nascar. Joe was the kind of person you could always count on—steady, generous, and ready to help whenever someone needed him. His presence brought warmth, humor, and reliability to everyone who knew him. Though he will be deeply missed, this is not goodbye, but until we meet again. Visitation will be on Wednesday March 18, 2026, at THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 3080 Homeward Way at Rt. 4, Fairfield from 11:00AM until the time of the funeral at 12:00PM with Pastor Tyler Green officiating.
