Jordan Andrew Kristopher Evans was born November 3,1990 to parents Ruth G. Evans and Jeffrey R. Kinney in Dayton, Ohio. Jordan gave his life to the Lord on June 6, 2004, at Greater New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Cincinnati, Ohio at the age of 13 years old. He was a talented singer and was a member of the Greater New Hope Missionary Baptist Church youth choir. From a very young age, Jordan had an internal drive to be extraordinary at everything he did. Not only was he a talented singer, he was also academically gifted as well. In the 6th grade while attending Waycross Elementary School in Forest Park, Ohio, he received a Certificate of Academic Excellence from then President, George W. Bush for being an “All A” Honor Role Student. As a high school student, Jordan attended Hamilton High School in Hamilton, Ohio where he graduated in 2009. He was a member of the Hamilton Freshman Basketball team as well as the Hamilton High School Track and Field team. As a young man, Jordan remained actively engaged in developing his musical gifts. He continuously worked to improve his abilities as a singer and grew into a talented songwriter as well. Jordan was always his own individual, which was his greatest strength and simultaneously his greatest challenge. Though he has left this life for eternity, his gifts, his talents, his humor and eclectic personality will always be missed. Though sorrow has brought us to this place, it will never erase the smiles, the laughter and the happy memories of Jordan that we will forever cherish. The love we carry in our hearts for him is one we will always hold dear. Jordan was preceded in death by his grandmother Wanda Kinney, father Jeffrey Kinney, aunt Jennifer Kinney and younger brother Jaylen Kinney. He is survived by his mother Ruth G. Kinney, grandfather Carl A. Evans, brothers Kendell Kinney and Jeremy Evans, sister and brother -in law - Krystle and Fred Logan, nieces and nephews Alliyah, Sarai, Kayden, Fred IV, Jayden, Cierre, Kanai, Mekhi, Arianna and a host of extended family and friends.

Romans 8:38-39 King James Version (KJV)

For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

It is with heart-felt gratitude that our family would like to thank each and every one of you for your kindness, your words of love and encouragement and most of all your prayers, as we navigate this very difficult time. Words cannot express how much your continuous support has meant to us. Your prayers have truly uplifted our spirits, and we are ever so grateful. God

Bless You All.
