Jonathan E. Schmidt

Jonathan E. Schmidt age 41 of Cincinnati, passed away Monday February 2, 2026. He was born March 14, 1984 in Cincinnati, Ohio son of Nicholas Schmidt and Kimberly (Berding) Schmidt. Jon lived for his nieces and nephews and loved his family dearly. He was an animal lover, enjoyed video games, was an avid reader, and was a movie buff. He had a big heart and would do anything for anyone. Jon is survived by his parents Nicholas and Kimberly Schmidt; siblings Corey Schmidt, Kelly (Daniel) Daley, Benjamin (Ashley) Schmidt; nieces and nephews Hannah, Charlie, Scarlett, Evelyn, Rowan, and Emerson; grandfather Gerald Berding and grandmother Joan Scott. Jon was also preceded in death by grandmother Jacque Berding, grandfather Delbert Scott, grandparents Charles and Laverna Schmidt, great grandparents Norbert and Ruth Berding, and Rosemary Maher; his uncle Greg “Uncle Buck” Berding and uncle Stephen “Uncle Dirty” Christo. Visitation at The Webster Funeral Home, 3080 Homeward Way at Rt. 4 Fairfield on Friday February 13, 2026 from 6:00PM until the time of the memorial service at 7:00PM.
