John V. Garrison age 81 of West Chester passed away on Sunday January 21, 2018. He was born on May 23, 1936 in Cincinnati the son of the late Simon and Fannie (nee Brewer) Garrison. John is a veteran of The United States Army. On August 5, 1967 he married Marlene Melzer. John is survived by his loving wife of over 50 years Marlene Garrison; three children Tyrone S. Garrison, Shelly (Scott) Wyckoff, and Shane V. Garrison; three grandchildren Michael A. Capobianco; Zachary S. Wilson, and Cara T. Garrison; two great grandchildren; Bella L. Capobianco and Jaeci L. Garrison; and one brother Albert (Nawatha) Garrison. He was also preceded in death by one brother Simon "Sonny" Garrison and one sister Clara Gabbard.
