John Goodpaster Sr

John Goodpaster Sr. age 78 of Hamilton passed away on Wednesday October 7, 2026. He was born on October 15, 1947 in Mt. Sterling, KY the son of the late Willie and Martha (nee Brown) Goodpaster. John is survived by his loving wife Brenda Goodpaster; six children John Goodpaster Jr, Diane (Kris) Williams, William (Ashley) Lawson, Zachary (Kyerra) Goodpaster, Kristina (Jared) Waters, and Jessica Jeffers; thirteen grandchildren Kirstyn Ramsey, Logan Goodpaster, Evan Goodpaster, Jada (Thomas) Dingledine, Morgan Little, Riley Lawson, William Lawson Jr, Jaxon Lawson, Easton Lawson, Emmalynn Waters, Rylin Wison, Rowan Ramsey, and Journei Ramsey; two siblings Brenda (the late James) Gray and Bobby (Clair) Goodpaster. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, other family and close friends. John was also preceded in death by on grandson Jared Haze Waters and one sister Joy Sizemore.
