John A. Brunner

John A. Brunner age 82 of Springfield Township, Ohio passed away Friday June 26, 2026 in his home. He was born September 9, 1943 in Cincinnati, Ohio the son of the late John Brunner and Mary Ruth Clark Brunner. He was married to Roberta “Bobbie” Brunner for 55 years and she preceded him in death on March 27, 2023. John was involved in many aspects of the Fairfield community including the Rotary, Footlighters, and the Fairfield Community Foundation. He was a proud charter member of St. John Nuemann Catholic Church. He participated in weekly mass by singing in the choir. John loved going on vacation to the beach and Walt Disney World with his family. In his free time he enjoyed riding his motorcycle, boating on the Ohio River, and spending time with family and friends. He was a proud graduate of Purcell High School and Xavier University. He will be deeply missed. Above all we will miss his laughter and love of life. He is survived by his two daughters Jacquie (Rob) Monger and Marci (Doug) Harvey; five grandchildren Robbie (Angel) Monger, Nicholas Monger, Alexandra Harvey, Annabelle Harvey, and Abigail Harvey; one great granddaughter Adaleigh Monger; and one sister Janice (Blaine) Smith. Mr. Brunner is also survived by many nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, and brothers-in-law. Visitation at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 12191 Mill Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45240 on Wednesday July 8, 2026 from 10:00 AM until the funeral Mass at 12:00 PM.
