Joan M. Reagan age 86, a resident of Chesterwood Village in West Chester, Ohio passed away Thursday July 18, 2024. She was born May 11, 1938 in Easton, Pennsylvania the daughter of the late Anthony DeVito and Lena Rotundo DeVito. She was married to Francis M. Reagan and he preceded her in death in 2011. Joan had a very strong Catholic faith and enjoyed serving the Lord. She was a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in nursing and worked for a time in Germany as an Army nurse. She later went on to earn a Master’s degree in English, working as an English teacher in Boston and several other communities. Following this, she went back to Boston College to earn a Master’s degree in Theology and pursued work as a religion teacher and also a pastoral counselor. She had her own counseling practice for several years and very much enjoyed serving others in her life. She eventually moved down to Falmouth, Massachusetts on Cape Cod and lived by the ocean, as she’d always been fond of the sea. In 2015 she decided to move to Ohio to be closer to her children and grandchildren. Joan was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her two sons David (Sheri) Reagan and Gregory (Kimberly) Reagan; and grandchildren Matthew, Katie, Lucille, and Elizabeth. She was also preceded in death by her brother Anthony DeVito. Visitation on Thursday August 1, 2024 at St. Susanna Catholic Church, 616 Reading Road, Mason, Ohio from 10:00 AM until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM.
