Jesse Campbell

Jesse Campbell, age 81 of Fairfield, passed away on Saturday September 13th, 2025. He was born on August 6th, 1944 in Hamilton, the son of the late William and Jessie (née Nash) Campbell. On March 4th, 1962 Jesse was married to Wilda Sue (née Whitaker) Campbell and she preceded him in death in 2019. Jesse is survived by three children Steven Campbell, Jeffrey Campbell and Robin (Ken) Whitmore; ten grandchildren Casey, Jessica, Samantha, Ryan, Matthew, Jacob, Rachel, Chad, Kory, and Noah; twenty great-grandchildren, a special niece Tracey, and one brother Joe (Marilyn) Campbell. Jesse also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, other family and close friends. Jesse was also proceeded in death by 10 siblings, Charles Campbell, Enos Campbell, Kenny Campbell, Paul Campbell, Mildred Link, Charlotte Gray, Thelma Proffitt, Howard Campbell, David Campbell and James Campbell; three grandchildren Katie, Jesse and Charles; one great grandchild Riley, and a special niece Lana. After retiring from his many years as a laborer/warehouse worker, he devoted much of his time to service within the church. He always had a welcoming smile and a fun-loving attitude towards life. Visitation will be held on Thursday September 18, 2025 at the Webster Funeral Home at 3080 Homeward Way Fairfield from 11:00 am until the time of funeral at 1:00 pm with Pastor Darryl McCoy officiating.
