Jerry C. Adams

Jerry Clay Adams age 84 of Fairfield, Ohio passed away on Friday, March 27, 2026, at home surrounded by family. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio on August 23, 1941, to the late Chester Clay and Ella (Pelfrey) Adams. In 1969 in Hamilton, he married Shirley A. Pape. Jerry is survived by his wife of 57 years, Shirley A. Adams and his children Jennifer Pape Wilson and husband Harold Peetz, Greg Pape and fiancée Terry, and Jerry Adams Jr.; grandchildren Michael Wilson and wife Priscilla Wilson, Taylor Wilson and fiancée Traevyn, Tiffany Pape, Lindsay Gutknecht, Dylan Ruter and fiancée Jordan, and several nieces and nephews and great grandchildren; brother Rick Adams. He was proceeded in death by siblings Barbara Jean Hale, Phyllis Vinnedge and Carol Boyd and son Chris Pape. Jerry was a veteran of the US Air Force and was retired from Hartwig trucking. Private graveside service with military honors will be held at Greenwood Cemetery.
