Jeffery J. Grammel age 68 of Fairfield passed away Tuesday May 30, 2023. He was born December 11, 1954 in Hamilton, Ohio the son of the late Albert Grammel and Mary (Rybolt) Grammel. Jeff was a 1973 graduate of Hamilton Taft High School. He played basketball at Taft and went on to play at Tennessee Tech on a basketball scholarship. He was also an avid softball player and enjoyed beach vacations. Jeff is survived by his daughter Kelly Grammel; granddaughter Skylar Cherry; twin sister Jennifer (Doug) Smith; brother Mike (Mary) Grammel; four nephews Ryan (Kim) Smith, Chad (Danielle) Smith, Evan (Caitlin) Smith, and Charlie Grammel. Jeff is also survived by many other family members and close friends. He was also preceded in death by his son Chris Grammel. A celebration of Jeff’s life will be held at a later date.
