Janie E. Hammons

Janie E. Hammons age 79 of Hamilton passed away on Sunday September 13, 2026. She was born in Cumberland, KY the daughter of the late Estel and Anna (nee Halcomb) Lewis. Janie is survived by her loving husband of 34 years Bill Hammons; six children Joann Newhouse, Donald Murphy, Rick Hammons, Michele (Eric) Loe, Mark Head, and Ariel Hammons; over a dozen grandchildren and many great grandchildren; two siblings Bill Lewis and Ann (the late Jim) Borup. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, other family, and close friends. Mrs. Hammons was also preceded in death by seven siblings Sandra Livingston, Brenda Smith, Kay Brewer, Francis Davis, Connie Staples, James Lewis, and Cecil “Joe” Lewis. Visitation will be on Monday September 21, 2026 at THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 3080 Homeward Way at Rt, 4, Fairfield from 11:00AM until the time of the funeral at 1:00PM with Pastor Barry Wilson officiating.
